Our Approach
High-Performance Brewing Solution
The Weight Master Combo is a high-performance brewing solution that integrates two complementary modules—Module A and Module B—into a seamless system designed to address diverse brewing challenges.
Module A features lab-grade, 0.1g precision sensors and a robust waterproof design, ideal for handling everything from delicate pour-overs to high-pressure espresso extractions. Module B complements this with an intelligent flip screen interface that delivers real-time guidance, extraction data, and access to competition-level recipes. Together, the combo offers both technical precision and intuitive learning, making it a powerful tool for cafés, home brewers, and baristas aiming to refine their skills.
Challenges
Designing the mechanical structure of the Weight Master Combo posed significant difficulties. Integrating multiple miniature components—including PCBs, screens, load cells, and batteries—into three compact housings required intricate spatial planning. The challenge was further intensified by the need to achieve a seamless, waterproof design that could withstand daily usage in demanding café environments. Achieving both aesthetic refinement and functional water resistance meant eliminating all visible seams, which required the use of ultrasonic welding. This advanced sealing technique, while effective, greatly complicated the final assembly process.
Solutions
Our engineering team employed precision CAD modeling and iterative prototyping to optimize internal component placement within the limited housing volume. Custom-designed mounts and brackets were used to secure sensitive elements like load cells and screens without compromising durability or accuracy. To achieve watertight integrity and maintain a sleek, unified exterior, we adopted ultrasonic welding for final enclosure sealing. Rigorous testing protocols, including repeated submersion and thermal stress trials, were used to validate water resistance and mechanical resilience before final production.
